Denise grew up in Alberta Canada Read her story

Kip & I were married August 6, 1994 in
Peace River, Alberta, Canada. We had a wonderful private outdoor wedding in a park by the Mighty Peace River. Our children along with some family & good friends were present to help us celebrate our very special day.

We started our lives together in Ventura California. In August 1995 we purchased a property in Oak View which was in direr need of tlc.

We lived in it while remodeling and after nine years of hard work it turned out to be a beautiful, very private paradise which we enjoyed very much but it was time to move on.

We took delivery of our first sail boat a 37.6 Hunter in November 2001 and enjoyed sailing on Merlot until January 2003 when we traded up to a Hunter 44 Deck Salon.

We had many wonderful sailing trips on both our our first sail boats but decided we needed something a little bigger with a different interior layout for the extended cruises we were planning

September 2003 Kip planned a trip to Yosemite and Sequoia National parks which I had never visited. I was excited until a few days before we were to leave he informed me that we would be taking the trip on a Harley Davidson he had rented. I was not impressed but was willing to go along. We had not gone a mile and I loved it, the trip was wonderful and we saw beautiful country. He hoped that I would love riding, it worked, within a month of returning home we purchased our own bike. Men!!!

Selling our home in Oak View was the first step to turning our dream of sailing a reality. Next was to move back into the rental we owned in Ventura. We remodeled it, sold it, and moved onto our sail boat to get ready for our great adventure of sailing.
